Classical Drawing: Student Artwork
Within the first weeks of school, a student remarked, “This is the best I’ve ever drawn.” It was the perfect way to begin the year. This is our first year using Kevin McEvoy’s Classical Art at School program, and we fully intend to continue. After each video tutorial, students walk away more confident in their artistic abilities. I have even seen students who do not consider themselves naturally artistic become both skilled and eager to engage. Students truly enjoy Mr. McEvoy’s instruction. He is personable, engaging, and inspiring. I am excited to have my students try his painting tutorials in the near future. We are grateful for the work Mr. McEvoy is doing to bring classical art expertise into our school.
